Finance Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Finance Manager to cover a 6 month contract to manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team of a Technology company based in Bern

Main responsibilities

• Managing the accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Handling of VAT in Switzerland as well as VAT in Germany in cooperation with clients tax office.
• Assist in the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP (accruals, reconciliations, etc.).
• Ensure correct intercompany transactions. Ongoing optimization of financial processes, especially in the ERP system.
• Various general ledger activities. Support with other administrative and organizational tasks.

Your skills:

• Basic commercial education with a specialized further education in finance and accounting.
• Experience of working within a medium to large sized international organization, in a matrix environment, in a comparable function.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and MS Dynamics Navision
• Excellent communication skills and analytical skills.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and pressured work environment.
• A reliable, accurate and thoughtful way of working in a team.
• Language - Business fluency in German and English.
