London (Greater) SALARY: £100,000 - £130,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
An ambitious growing tech start-up focused on health and wellbeing is recruiting for a Finance Manager to join on a part-time basis for 3.5-4 days per week. Working closely with the MD you will be solely responsible for the finances of the company. Supporting the aggressive growth strategy this role is suited to a hands-on Finance Manager who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and help in other areas of the business.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Responsible for the oversight of the accounting function your main responsibilities will include:
- Full responsibility for the delivery of annual financial reporting, production of financial statements, monthly management accounts, and supporting KPI analysis
- Build and maintain detailed pricing models
- Monthly franchisee cash reconciliations and royalty calculations
- Preparation and presentation of cashflow forecasts, budgets, and 3-5 years business plans to the board
- Oversight and management of finance function including the outsourced bookkeeping and payroll function
- Adhoc financial planning and analysis of commercial initiatives including project appraisal
- Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
- Preparation of board and shareholder reports
WHAT YOU WILL HAVE
- Chartered accountant with 5 years of post-qualified experience
- Proven experience within a similar financial management or controller role
- Strong understanding of best practices in relation to financial management
- Well-structured and self-motivated
- Able to work with little supervision and able to think of and implement solutions
- Small company mindset with the ability to work flexibly with blurred boundaries of responsibility
- Able to identify and prioritise strategic business and financial issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to analyse, interpret and present data in appropriate formats
- A background working within a high-growth startup is desired
WHAT YOU WILL GET
- £100,000 - £130,000 pro-rata (3.5-4 days per week)
