Finance Manager

A growing tech start-up focused on health and wellbeing are recruiting for a Finance Manager. Reporting to the MD you will be the solely responsible for the finance and administration of the company. This role is suited to a hands-on Finance Manager who is not afraid to roll their sleeves up and help in other areas of the business.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsible for the oversight of the accounting function your main responsibilities will include:

• Full responsibility for the delivery of annual financial reporting, production of financial statements, monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
• Monthly franchisee cash reconciliations and royalty calculations
• Preparation and presentation of cashflow forecasts and budgets to the board
• Adhoc financial planning and analysis of commercial initiatives
• Oversight of the daily business and administrative operations within the office
• Evaluating company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
• Budget tracking and forecasting

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE

• Chartered accountant with 5 years post-qualified experience
• A degree in finance or accounting
• Able to work with little supervision and able to think of and implement solutions
• A strong team player who is driven and able to deal with ambiguity
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong ability to analyse, interpret and present data in appropriate formats
• A background working within a high-growth startup is desired

WHAT YOU WILL GET

• £70,000-£80,000 per annum depending on experience
