We have a wonderful and unique opportunity for an experienced English speaking travel Nanny to care for a 6-month-old baby. She is the only child of a lovely professional couple.

The Nanny, will ideally currently be based in the UK to allow for interview and a trial. 
From May the role will be based in Cairo, Egypt living in with the family in an exclusive, gated residential development. This is where the family will be based whilst their UK home is being completely renovated. Whilst in Egypt, there is likely to be travel to the beautiful north Egyptian coast for one month, as well as some other holidays within Egypt and Europe, however Cairo will be the base. The family plan to return to London once their home is ready to be occupied, which we anticipate will be around February/March time 2024.

They will have a Housekeeper and Driver in Cairo and know the city and country very well. Most people speak a good level of English and so Arabic isn’t necessary, although if you do speak Arabic, that is a bonus.

We are looking for a Nanny who has proven private Nanny experience looking after babies (mostly shared care with Mum) with a compassionate approach to childcare and a very keen eye for hygiene and detail. You must have previous experience of working overseas/travelling with your employers and enjoy this aspect of a role. This is a kind and low-key family with excellent staff retention, who are very respectful of their staff needing a work/life balance.

Usual working hours will be Sunday to Thursday (to reflect the weekends in Egypt) 9am to 6pm with one evening of babysit per week. All overtime will be paid on top of the gross annual salary at an hourly rate. 

Candidates must have excellent proven references and no commitments to allow for the period away.

The chosen candidate will be offered one paid economy flight home for a holiday during their time in Egypt and a discretionary end of year bonus. Salary is dependent on experience.
