US (New York City, NY) SALARY: $60,000 - $80,000 PER: Annum TERM: Permanent
Our client, a contemporary art consultancy focused on both emerging and contemporary artists are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant to assist the Founder of the company. Founded in the last couple of years, they now have around 10 people, so they’re offering a collaborative team environment. Based out of their loft in Soho, this role will be fully in-office.
As the Executive Assistant you would be mainly working under the Founder, who spends about half his time travelling (internationally), with the other half being based in New York. There will also will be from time-to-time office assistance work if needed. It is a small office so everyone pitches in together when needed.
- Heavy calendar management
- Scheduling and coordination of meetings
- Coordination with client
- Travel coordination – domestic and international, principle is in Europe at least once a month
- Management of email
- A touch of office management
This role would be a great fit for an individual who enjoys art or someone with art experience who is wanting to make the switch to working in more of an administrative role. They are looking for someone who is a go getter and can take initiative. You will be willing to roll up your sleeves when necessary, with a start-up mentality, and likely around 3-5 years of experience.
