I have a fantastic opportunity for an Events & Marketing Coordinator to join a commercial finance brokers based in City. You would be working closely with the Event Manager, Communications team, and Graphic designer. The successful candidate will be highly proactive, driven, and hardworking. It’s important that the successful candidate can collaborate and enjoy using their initiative. The Events & Marketing Coordinator will have excellent communication skills with previous experience working within events. Hybrid working available.

Main duties & responsibilities

• Support the delivery of large-scale flagship events, including Gala Dinners & Industry Awards
• Managing external events agencies & contracted suppliers
• Working closely with the Event Manager to ensure events are delivered within budget
• Work closely with the communications team to deliver the marketing strategy for events.
• Supporting Graphic Designer to develop, monitor and implement the strategy
• Update conference promotional materials.
• Ensure insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are adhered to.
• Undertaking market research & competitor analysis.
• Creating and delivering social media content for events

What you’ll need;

• At least 1 years’ experience of event management
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• An interest in developing social media skills
• Creative flair, ability to bring creative solutions to live and virtual events
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver to high standard of accuracy within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, able to communicate in an engaging way with external stakeholders and members.
• Previous experience of working in the financial services sector is desired
