Job Details

UK (Regional) SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000 PER: Annum

An excellent role has arisen for someone with experience in managing properties or estate management to join this charitable trust that owns two commercial estates in London and Rugby. If you have 2 years + experience looking after maintenance and property management and love working as part of a great team where you are very much your own boss you will love this role.

As Estates Manager for both properties you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and works between both properties and liaising with the General Managers and staff of each property and Directors of the Board to ensure that these needs are being met.  Day to day you will ;

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the maintenance and development of the properties and land.
  • Manage any required refurbishment of the estate properties and land.
  • Liaise with the General Managers of both properties to ensure that all aspects of the delivery of commercial activity is properly supported, helping to ensure the successful delivery of all events.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure the appropriate and economic provision and maintenance of all utilities including fuel supplies/water supplies and troubleshooting where required.
  • Liaise with residents of the estate, both tenants and property owners, and with local businesses to ensure that the operation of all activity on the estate respects the local environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Liaise with all staff and stakeholders also involved with the management of the estate and grounds.
  • Create budgets and strategic plans for the development of the estates.

Ideally you will have demonstrable skills in property/estate management either residential or commercial and be able to adapt to a very changing and demanding environment and split your time between the two properties. You will enjoy a client facing role with an ability to engage confidently with Board members, other estate staff, senior stakeholders and clients. You will need a clean UK Driving license and your own car and ideally an interest in country estate and houses and enjoy the aspects of travel that this role will require. A wonderful role for someone looking for a career in the property field.
