Deli Chef – Excellent work-life balance

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced and passionate chef to join an independent café, deli, and catering company based in Chelsea.

The salary is £28,000pa.

This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent work-life balance. You will work a mixed of early shifts – max. closing time 6pm – Monday to Friday, one Saturday/month only, Sunday closed.

Closest tube station: Sloane Square and South Kensington

Who you are:

• An experienced and passionate cook/chef, interested in authentic seasonal food with previous experience in a catering environment.
• A friendly person, who communicates well and work well as part of an established small team
• A well-organised, confident and professional individual
• A creative person willing to show off personality in order to contribute to the creation of new menus and recipes

Ideally you have studied a professional cooking course.

What you will do:

• You will work predominantly in the kitchen, alongside the head chef, and you will occasionally work in the deli shop or in the café – good customer service and presentation is important
• You will take orders over the phone, meet with clients to discuss food requirements
