DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

OVERVIEW

We are looking for an individual to join our team who is resourceful, shows initiative, and is able to establish and maintain excellent client relationships. We need our chosen candidate to have the ability to communicate well and effectively, verbally and in writing, to a diverse audience of clientele. He or she must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with tact and confidence with people at all levels, with a high level of business relationship management. This role involves independently administering a portfolio of client entities (new incorporations, company maintenance- including a variety of amendments, through to termination) with integrity and to a high level of professional competence- serving as a local liaison for our clients. He or she will be responsible for the overall administration of a client’s portfolio, including, but not limited to, achieving high standards of corporate governance. It is important that this individual keeps up to date with regulatory, statutory and compliance requirements within the United Arab Emirates and has a local network of professionals and service providers to be able to connect our clients to in accordance with their specific needs

1. Predominant Focus: Company Registration

Our chosen candidate must be able to provide professional insight to entrepreneurs and foreign companies
on setting up subsidiaries/branches/new companies in free-zones, onshore-local companies, and offshore
jurisdictions within the UAE, and be able to navigate the necessary formalities in doing so. The role involves
understanding the client’s needs and providing advice on which UAE jurisdiction is best suited to their
business- it is important to note that this will not be a sales role but more a consultant-based role and
approach. The role will involve drafting and preparing the necessary application forms to incorporate
businesses in a timely manner. Liaising with local government authorities and third-party departments to
complete each process from start to finish. It is important that our clients are provided with accurate advice relevant with local UAE laws and regulations.

2. Secondary Focus: License and Registration Amendment Requests
Providing written/verbal advice and guidance on the documentation and steps required for existing
companies to complete share transfers, increase of share capital, changingoffice-holders, change of legal
address, annual license renewals as well as company winding-up and de-registrations.

3. Assistance with UAE Bank Account Opening
Whether it be direct assistance for opening digital bank accounts, or via an outsourced banking consultant
for local bank accounts, our chosen candidate needs to be well-versed with local UAE banking requirements
and have experience in navigating the formalities in doing so to completion on behalf of our clients.

Other responsibilities:
o Document Management: Maintaining and organizing corporate documents, such as establishment
cards, licenses, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with local regulations;
o Renewal Reminders: Sending renewal reminders frequently to clients to ensure the prompt renewal
of their company’s licence, establishment cards and leases to avoid any late renewal penalties;
o To be up-to-date with periodic changes to government policies, laws, regulations, processes,
requirements, and their resulting impact on business needs;
o Drafting Power of Attorneys, special power of attorneys, board resolutions and liaising with certified
legal translators in the UAE to ensure the acceptability of documents as per Dubai Courts’ standards;
o Organizing third-party approvals from the relevant authorities for regulated activities such as
Security Industry Regulatory Authority (SIRA), Dubai Supreme Council for Energy (DSCE),
Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), Dubai Police Chemical Precursors Divisions, Dubai
Health Authority (DHA). General Authority of Sports (GAS), Securities Commodities Authority (SCA)
and Road and Transport Authority (RTA) etc.
o Organize and complete retail and annual operational fitness certificates (RAOFC & AOFC) for units
leased by companies in the DMCC free zone to ensure their offices meet the standards required for
operating a physical office;

Key characteristics & experience:
o Our chosen candidate needs a high level of business relationship management to be able to serve
as a local liaison for our clients;
o Our chosen candidate should have a local network of professionals and service providers to be
able to connect to our clients based on their specific needs;
o Chaperoning clients at the Dubai Courts- Notary Public to complete the notarization of legal
documents such as memorandum and articles of association, power of attorneys, board resolutions,
shareholders resolutions etc.
o Excellent written and spoken English and general communication skills are a priority
