Corporate Development / Investor Relations 

The Role:

The Corporate Development and Investor Relations will play a crucial role in supporting growth and managing investor relationships. Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to various strategic initiatives, including financial management, corporate treasury, fundraising, and M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for investor-related matters and ensure thorough understanding of key business performance drivers.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the company's Corp Dev / IR strategy, including fundraising, roadshow planning, partnership development, and investment opportunity evaluation.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, investors, portfolio companies, and financial media.
• Develop and manage documentation for investor-related processes, reports, and communications.
• Coordinate logistics for investor conferences, roadshows, and fundraising events, and support the team by responding to investor inquiries.
• Prepare informative and concise materials to communicate the company's strategy, operational performance, and financial results to the investment community.
• Assist in deal sourcing and conduct research on potential M&A and public listing opportunities, including market, financial, and competitive analysis.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to support their growth, provide strategic advice, and connect them with potential partners and customers.
• Help manage the fund's portfolio by monitoring performance and identifying value creation opportunities.
• Participate in ad-hoc Corp Dev / IR projects as assigned by senior management.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CFA certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience in Corp Dev and IR, either buy-side or sell-side experience is acceptable.
• Proficiency in planning, supporting, and implementing Corp Dev and IR activities.
• Strong financial analysis skills, with the ability to assess various investment opportunities in line with corporate strategy and market factors.
• Proven track record of creating and presenting high-quality presentations to senior leadership teams and potential investors.
• Familiarity with the Metaverse, crypto, fund management, digital assets, crypto fund, gaming, or blockchain industries is highly desirable.
• Comprehensive understanding of the latest financial market trends and technologies
• Experience with ADGM is a plus
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
• Excellent written and oral English communication
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
