Banking Operations Specialist – Private Wealth Management
Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Banking Operations Specialist to join the Operations team within the Private Wealth Management area of this renowned global Bank’s Zurich office.
The Operations team develop all processes and controls that allow the business to flow and supports all local Business teams & their clients as well as supporting Private Wealth teams based globally.
This is an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension and will be based on site in Zurich.
Main responsibilities
- A key player in the Operational review process for the Bank in Switzerland
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance & Global Operations in a fast paced and challenging role.
- Build strong productive relationships with the Private Wealth Management, Legal, Compliance, Technology and the Operations Division globally.
- regularly review operational processes to mitigate risk and identify opportunities to further strengthen the control environment
- enhancing the current suite of processes performed by both the Zurich and global Private Wealth Operations teams.
Your skills:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in financial services, preferably within an Account Opening, Client Data Change Management or Client Identification / Rolling Review position.
- Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail.
- Aptitude for building relationships and ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal partners at differing levels of product or process experience
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of projects, has strong organizational skills as well as the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Excellent English language written and verbal skills essential, German skills are a distinct advantage
- Background in Law or a Regulatory environment would be useful
- Experience in testing of new software would be highly advantageous.
