Assistant General Manager

My client, a 4 star hotel company is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager to assist the Cluster Hotel Manager in running the Hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career as they will have a lot of autonomy in this role. This is a 12 month FTC, however has the opportunity to go permanent.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day to day running of the hotel
• Leading the team to create excellent customer service for all guests
• Managing the recruitment, onboarding and training of all new starters
• Training and developing the team where needed
• Assisting the GM to manage the Housekeeping department
• Ensuring a positive and engaging culture and environment for all team members
• Improving and implementing new procedures where appropriate

Who you are:

• Engaging and passionate individual who loves making each guest experience memorable
• Confident in IT systems relevant for property management
• Excellent English both written and spoken
• High attention to detail
• Previous experience managing a team and hotel
• Excellent time keeping skills
• Great sales and negotiating skills
