Aftermarket Sales Engineer- Service Contract Experience

The Aftermarket Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and executing sales plans within a designated sales territory or account in a B2C environment. The role involves selling a range of company products, including parts, filters, PMC (Power Management Components), and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain new customer prospects and accounts.
    • Achieve sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Build and nurture relationships that foster customer goodwill and loyalty.
    • Conduct negotiations in line with company guidelines and respond to customer concerns.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced sales representatives.
    • Utilize Cummins tools and processes (e.g., Customer Relationship Management, Customer Focus) to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Strategic Account Management:
    • Identify, research, and contact potential customers to generate future sales and repeat business.
    • Develop and execute account strategies aligned with business goals.
    • Use intuitive listening and problem-solving to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
  • Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management:
    • Collect and analyze customer data to forecast future consumption patterns.
    • Manage the sales pipeline, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure the successful execution of sales plans.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the engineering or automotive industry.
    • Engines and Power Generator service and product experience is a plus.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Language Skills:
    • Fluent in Arabic and English.
