The Aftermarket Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer relationships, achieving sales goals, and executing sales plans within a designated sales territory or account in a B2C environment. The role involves selling a range of company products, including parts, filters, PMC (Power Management Components), and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain new customer prospects and accounts.
- Achieve sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build and nurture relationships that foster customer goodwill and loyalty.
- Conduct negotiations in line with company guidelines and respond to customer concerns.
- Leadership and Mentorship:
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced sales representatives.
- Utilize Cummins tools and processes (e.g., Customer Relationship Management, Customer Focus) to enhance sales effectiveness.
- Strategic Account Management:
- Identify, research, and contact potential customers to generate future sales and repeat business.
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned with business goals.
- Use intuitive listening and problem-solving to translate customer needs into actionable solutions.
- Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management:
- Collect and analyze customer data to forecast future consumption patterns.
- Manage the sales pipeline, adjust strategies as needed, and ensure the successful execution of sales plans.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably within the engineering or automotive industry.
- Engines and Power Generator service and product experience is a plus.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
