Concierge Job Description
Key responsibilities:
- Welcome guests on arrival and process reservations
- Provide assistance and information for guests
- Provide guests with recommendations of entertainment, activities and use of facilities depending on each individual requirement
- Understand the hotel premises, nearby area and restaurant in order to make recommendations
- Arrange transportation and excursions for guests
- Answer phones and handle all reservations, messages and calls coming into the hotel
- Respond to complaints quickly and efficiently
Essential requirements:
- At least two years’ previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Multi-tasking and time-management
- Degree in hotel management or similar
Personality profile:
- Clear communicator with great customer service skills
- Confident on phone and email (quick responses are a must)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Problem solver
- Friendly, courteous and have a positive attitude
